Optigo Networks, a young Canadian technology company, developed an exciting fiber based technology, which provides a connectivity platform with cyber-protection and predictive maintenance for the commercial Internet of Things. With end-to-end Ethernet connectivity over distances of up to 8 km from the head-end over a very lightweight, highly cost effective cable plant, the technology is particularly suited for applications in building automation and facility management, and in the security -, process control – and logistics industry.
